WHAT IS CYCLE SCHEME?

Cyclescheme is an independent company that helps employers and employees benefit from the UK Government’s Green Transport Plan. It allows staff to save money on bikes and cycling equipment while promoting a healthier, more sustainable commute.

How Do You Join Cyclescheme?

To participate, your employer must be signed up with Cyclescheme. If they’re not yet registered, they can request a free information pack at www.cyclescheme.co.uk.

How Much Can You Save?

You could save between 30% and 50% on the cost of a new bike and accessories, depending on:

• Your income tax rate (higher-rate taxpayers save more)

• Whether your employer can reclaim VAT (e.g., NHS employees may save slightly less)

• Whether your employer uses external financing (savings may be 5% lower)

• The final “fair market value” payment at the end of the hire period

How Are Savings Made?

Your employer buys the bike from Cyclescheme and leases it to you. You repay the cost through monthly deductions from your gross salary, before tax and National Insurance — reducing your overall taxable income.

How to Order Your Bike

1. Choose your bike and accessories online.

2. At checkout, select Cyclescheme as your payment method.

3. You’ll receive a completed order form by email. Print this and send it to us, along with your Cyclescheme voucher.

4. We’ll process your order once we receive both your voucher and administration fee.

Note: Delivery times start from the date we receive your voucher, not the order date.

How to Get Your Cyclescheme Voucher

• Contact Cyclescheme directly.

• They may ask for a quotation for your chosen bike.

• If needed, email us at sales@grahamweighcycles.co.uk and we’ll send you a written quote.

Spending Limits

Most employers set a £1,000 limit per employee through Cyclescheme. If you’d like to spend more, contact us and we’ll help explore your options.

Important Note About Order Confirmations

Cyclescheme order prices are valid for 28 days. If we don’t receive your voucher within that time:

• We may cancel your order, or

• You may be asked to cover any price increase by paying the difference directly by credit card.
